Durham Parks and Rec has teamed up with Summer Sessions in Rye NH to offer a weeklong 1/2 day Surf Camp! This camp is designed to introduce kids to surfing in a safe and fun environment. No experience necessary and all equipment is included!
Summer Sessions instructors will work with your child to help get them accustomed to the mechanics and timing of the waves as well as teach them the skills to enjoy riding them. And they will have a tun of fun as well. If they have never surfed before, this is their chance to learn! If they have surfed before, this camps help refine their techniques and develop a foundation for more advanced maneuvers.
Surf Camp offers:
-Five days of Surf Camp (Monday-Friday)
-Professional instruction from a staff with more than 40 years of surf experience
-Brand new boards and wetsuits
-Maximum student to instructor ratio of 4:1
-The opportunity to meet new people and learn to surf in a fun and comfortable environment

Note:
Transportation in the DPR Adventure van is provided for this program. Drop off and pick up will be at Jackson's Landing.
